Meet Sara
— Welcome —
I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Sara, and I can't wait to meet you. With warmth, humor, and authenticity, I create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your inner world, connect with your resilience, and take brave steps toward self-understanding, self-actualization, and healthier relationships. I value honesty, kindness, and showing up as our real, imperfect selves. I believe that therapy is about turning toward life's challenges — the anger, fear, frustration, pain, and sadness. Often our biggest growth moments come from leaning into these experiences with curiosity and compassion. I hope to stand next to you while you navigate
wherever you are.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a married mom to two littles, two of the world’s fluffiest kitties, and a very special boy named Marv (he's a dog). I find joy in traveling, going to concerts, and spending time in nature — whether that’s hiking or getting my hands dirty working in the garden. Time outside helps me slow down, find balance, and stay connected to what matters most — something I try to bring into my work with clients as well.
I love working with couples, families, and individuals who are navigating relationship challenges, conflict, communication struggles, boundary-setting, or the sometimes-messy process of learning how to live more authentically. My approach is deeply collaborative — you bring your lived experience; I bring curiosity, insight, and a belief that all behavior makes sense in context. Sometimes the patterns that once protected us no longer serve us. Together, we’ll explore what’s no longer working and find a better way forward — one that feels true to you.
I like to think of therapy as a place where nothing is too big to bring into the room. My goal is to offer a truly judgment-free space where you can be fully seen, fully human, and fully yourself.
Sara is not currently accepting new clients.
Sara is pursuing her graduate degree in Family Therapy from Friends University. She is supervised by clinicians at both Friends University and Great Oaks Therapy.
