I believe therapy should be a judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are. You don’t have to present yourself in a certain way to be understood here.
I tend to connect with people who’ve always felt a little “different” or outside the box—because I’ve been there too. I understand identity can be complex and evolving, and I bring that perspective into my work. As a Mexican American woman and the eldest daughter in a Hispanic household, I know what it’s like to carry expectations, take on different roles, and move through spaces where you don’t always feel like you fully fit.
I also came to understand myself more clearly after being diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood. It helped me make sense of my experience in a new way, while also bringing awareness to old narratives I had been carrying for years. I enjoy working with adults in that same space—understanding how their brains work, shifting those narratives, and building systems that actually fit their lives.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I use a systems lens, meaning I look at how relationships, environment, and early experiences all connect. A big part of my work is helping clients explore how childhood and family dynamics shaped their patterns, especially the ones that once helped them cope but no longer feel helpful today.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who are ready for change, whether that’s improving communication, working through relationship challenges, or deepening self-understanding.
